IT/Buyer Position

The Oklahoma City Municipal Golf Courses are currently searching for an individual to facilitate our IT and Procurement needs.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Systems Administrator

Providing management-level systems administrative functions, including:

  • Hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting repair/replacement
  • Software installation, configuration, training, and 24/7 help desk response
  • Needs and cost analysis of technology system designs and their impact on our operation
  • Network communications and the way we interact with outside parties (including the City)
  • Systems security and threat mitigation
  • Overall supervision of golf course technological systems with minimal downtime and adverse impact to business function
  • Website administration and email communication

Buyer

Involved in different aspects of the purchasing process, including:

  • Needs and cost analysis
  • Conducting market research to collect and analyze information about the capabilities within the market to satisfy needs and making a responsible source selection
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings with end users and vendors
  • Ensuring all quotes and proposals are technically acceptable
  • Performing contract administration: monitoring and approving purchases within contract agreements, pricing agreements and performing random auditing of contract terms/pricing
